一、一般现在时的用法
一般现在时用于表达经常性的动作或存在的状态。
1. 我的姐姐在一家银行工作。My sister works in a bank regularly.
2. 他们总是取笑他。They always make fun of him without any reason or provocation.
一般现在时也用于表达客观事实或普遍真理。
1. 光的速度超过了声音。Light is naturally faster than sound due to its nature.

一般现在时也可用于表达将来的情况，特别是在条件状语从句中。

二、现在进行时的用法
现在进行时表达此刻正在进行的动作。

现在进行时也用于表达现阶段正在进行的动作，但不一定在此时此刻进行。
1. 如今学习汉语的人数正在迅速增长。The number of people learning Chinese is rapidly increasing at present.
2. 我们正在筹备周五举行的会议。We are in the process of preparing for the meeting on Friday.
现在进行时也可用于表达即将发生的动作，常用的动词有离开、来、开始等。
1. 她过几天就要离开上海了。She is leaving Shanghai in a few days’ time.
2. 我妈妈这个周末要来看我。My mother is arriving this weekend.
3. 他们将要乘8点的火车。They are boarding the 8 o’clock train soon.
现在进行时还可以表达某种情感或情绪。
1. 他总是乱放东西，真让人厌烦。He always leaves his things scattered, which is quite annoying.
2. 我总是在公交车上见到他，真意外。I keep seeing him on the bus unexpectedly.

感叹句用于表达说话人的强烈情感和情绪。
