I was trying to get to sleep when my brother and his girlfriend came to visit me. 他们来看我时我正在睡觉。他们正在交谈。 I heard my brother say to his girlfriend, ‘I love you’, and she said, ‘Me too’. 我听见我兄弟跟他的女朋友说：“我爱你。”她说：“我也是。” I pretended to be asleep so that they wouldn’t know I had heard their conversation. 我假装睡着了，这样他们就不会知道我已经听到他们的对话了。 But they didn’t go away for a long time and soon I heard my brother say, ‘Will you marry me?’ 我听到我的兄弟说：“你愿意嫁给我吗？” I was completely surprised and I jumped out of bed. 我大吃一惊，从跳了起来。 I thought they had gone away but they were still there. 我以为他们已经走了，但他们还在那里。 Then my brother’s girlfriend asked, ‘Are you awake?’ 然后我兄弟的的女朋友问：“你醒了吗？” I pretended to wake up and said, ‘What’s happening?’ 我假装醒来并问：“发生什么事了？” They then told me that they had been talking about marriage. 然后他们告诉我他们一直在谈论婚姻。 I was so embarrassed that I pretended to be asleep all the time. 我尴尬得假装一直在睡觉。
